KunstadtBicycles for Humanity

The Rideau Canal Festival Bike Program offers visitors and tourists an easy opportunity to experience the Rideau Canal by bicycle. For a minimum donation to Bicycles for Humanity, visitors and tourists can pick up a Rideau Canal Festival bike at Confederation Park or Dows Lake from July 30 to August 2, and enjoy a leisurely bicycle ride along the scenic Rideau Canal.

Bicycles for Humanity will also be operating a bicycle parking lot at Confederation Park throughout the Festival. Bicycles and safety equipment are graciously provided by Kunstadt Ottawa.

Join your guides from Rent-A-Bike for a Heritage Bicycle Tour along the Rideau Canal. The National Capital Region boasts some of the best recreational pathways in North America and none are more historic than this scenic path along the Rideau Canal. This 90 minute tour takes you along both sides of the Canal with a turnaround at Hartwell Locks.
