Your choice – a 3 km walk or 5 km run led by the experts from the Running Room. Departing from the lobby of The Westin Ottawa, your route takes you along the Rideau Canal and crosses the finish line of the famous Ottawa Marathon. Arrive at the Rideau Canal Festival’s Energy Ottawa Green Rendezvous site in Confederation Park in time for your morning coffee! Hosted by The Westin Ottawa and The Running Room.

The Rideau Canal Festival Bike Program offers visitors and tourists an easy opportunity to experience the Rideau Canal by bicycle. For a minimum donation to Bicycles for Humanity, visitors and tourists can pick up a Rideau Canal Festival bike at Confederation Park or Dows Lake from August 1-3, and enjoy a leisurely bicycle ride along the scenic Rideau Canal.
Bicycles for Humanity will also be operating a bicycle parking lot at Confederation Park throughout the Festival. Bicycles and safety equipment are graciously provided by Kunstadt Ottawa.

Join your guides from Rent-A-Bike for a Heritage Bicycle Tour along the Rideau Canal. The National Capital Region boasts some of the best recreational pathways in North America and none are more historic than this scenic path along the Rideau Canal. This 90 minute tour takes you along both sides of the Canal with a turnaround at Hartwell Locks.

Kundalini yoga is sometimes called "the yoga of awareness" because it awakens the "kundalini" which is the unlimited potential that already exists within every human being. Where better to experience that flow of energy and consciousness than in the peaceful and tranquil setting of the Rideau Canal.
Join Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Christine Garand of the Shunnya Centre for Yoga on the Canal each morning during the Festival.
